1. Information We Collect
When you use Ottopus, we collect the following information:
- Account information: your email address and a hashed password when you sign up.
- Instagram data: when you connect your Instagram Business account via OAuth, we receive your Instagram user ID, username, and an access token. We use this to perform actions you configure (auto-replies, insights).
- Webhook events: Instagram sends us notifications about messages, comments, and story mentions on your connected account so we can process your automation rules.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate you and manage your account.
- To execute automation rules you configure (DM replies, comment replies, story mention responses).
- To display account insights and analytics.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed using Argon2. Instagram access tokens are stored to maintain your connection. You can disconnect your account and delete your data at any time.
4. Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. Upon deletion, we remove your account information, connected Instagram data, and all stored webhook events.
5. Third-Party Services
This application integrates with the Meta (Instagram) Graph API. By connecting your Instagram account, you are also subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
